820 Olive is a striking residential and retail tower located in downtown Los Angeles, California, just a short walk from popular attractions like Staples Center and L.A. Live. Completed in February 2019, this 49-story building stands at 563 feet, making it the tallest residential tower in California at the time of its completion. Developed by Onni Group and designed by Chris Dikeakos Architects, 820 Olive features 516 residential units along with over 5,000 square feet of retail space. The site has a rich history, previously home to the RKO Hillstreet Theatre, which opened in 1922 and was demolished in 1965.
