Frank Erwin Center, longtime concert arena

The Frank Erwin Center opened in 1977 at this location and served for decades as the University of Texas at Austin's primary indoor arena for basketball, concerts, and large-scale events. The arena hosted numerous major touring rock, pop, and country artists across its operating years. After the Moody Center opened in 2022 as UT's new arena, the Erwin Center was vacated and slated for demolition.
