James Withrow House

The James Withrow House, also known as the John Montgomery House, is a historic brick home in Lewisburg, West Virginia, built around 1818. It is the oldest brick house in the town and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The house has a rich history, having been home to notable figures such as James Withrow I and II, and even hosted Robert E. Lee in 1867. Architecturally, it features a Federal style with a large double portico and unique brick patterns.
