Bispebjerg Bakke (building)

Bispebjerg Bakke is a unique apartment complex located in the Bispebjerg district of Copenhagen, Denmark, designed by renowned sculptor Bjørn Nørgaard. Conceived in 1997, the project aimed to showcase high-quality craftsmanship and design in contrast to industrial construction methods. The complex features two serpentine buildings with a total of 135 rental apartments, blending traditional architectural elements with modern materials. Inspired by music, Nørgaard's design incorporates vibrant red and yellow bricks, glazed tiles, and wooden-aluminium windows.
