Uttara Ganabhaban

Uttara Ganabhaban, also known as Dighapatia Palace, is an 18th-century royal palace located near Natore, Bangladesh. Originally built in 1734 by Raja Doyaram, it served as the seat of the Dighapatia Raj and showcases exquisite architecture typical of jomidar bari. The palace features a striking clock imported from Italy, beautiful gardens with foreign trees, and Italian marble statues. It has historical significance as a former residence of Bangladeshi Prime Ministers and a ceremonial site for foreign ambassadors. Additionally, the Uttara Ganabhaban Museum, established in 2018, houses over a hundred historical artifacts, making it a fascinating destination for tourists and researchers alike.
