Liberty Bell Center

The Liberty Bell Center houses the Liberty Bell, the 18th-century bell cast in 1752 that became a symbol of American independence. The Center provides exhibits about the bell's origins, its historical uses, and the crack and subsequent repairs that altered the bell. Located in Independence National Historical Park near Independence Hall, the building is the primary visitor facility for viewing and interpreting the Bell.
