Fay House

Fay House is a historic Federal style mansion located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, serving as the main administrative building of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. Built in 1807 by Nathaniel Ireland, the house has a rich history, having changed ownership multiple times before becoming the first building owned by Radcliffe College. Notable architectural changes include the addition of a mansard roof in 1870, which was later removed in favor of a third story for a library.
