Town Hall, Penang

The Town Hall in George Town, Penang, Malaysia, is a historic British-built administrative building completed in the 1880s. As the oldest municipal building in the city, it originally housed the Municipal Commission and served as a venue for elite social events. Located next to the City Hall and overlooking the Esplanade, it is part of George Town's UNESCO World Heritage Site. The building has been recognized as a historic monument since 1993 and is now used for public events and art exhibitions, including the annual George Town Festival. Notably, it was also a filming location for the movie 'Anna and the King.'
