Reflecting Pool

The Reflecting Pool at the Oklahoma City National Memorial is a long, shallow pool that lies between the 9:01 and 9:03 Gates and aligns with the footprint of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Its still surface reflects the Field of Empty Chairs and the Survivor Tree and is intended to provide a contemplative space for visitors. The pool is an integral outdoor installation of the memorial landscape designed to mark the blast site.
