Cornwell Farm

Cornwell Farm is a historic house located in Great Falls, Virginia, built in 1831 in the Georgian style. Originally constructed for Julia Jackson Davis, the property has a rich history, including periods of abandonment and restoration. Notable features include a two-story brick dwelling with a hipped roof and a 1+1⁄2-story addition from the late 1930s. The farm, once known as Mine Ridge and Fairview, is currently under efforts for preservation to prevent its demolition. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, making it a significant site for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
