Buckhorn Saloon & Museum

The Buckhorn Saloon & Museum, established in 1881, operates as a saloon, restaurant, and museum near Alamo Plaza and contains a large collection of mounted wildlife, Texas Longhorns, and Western artifacts. The complex includes exhibits related to frontier history and the Texas Rangers and has displayed trophies and curiosities assembled over more than a century. It is a longstanding example of a tourist-oriented historic commercial building in downtown San Antonio.
