Arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald at the Texas Theatre

Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested inside the Texas Theatre on November 22, 1963, following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy earlier that day in Dallas. Theater employees reported a suspicious patron, and Dallas police officers apprehended Oswald inside the theater. Oswald was subsequently charged with the assassination of President Kennedy and the murder of Dallas Police Officer J.D. Tippit.
