Thurgood Marshall argued Brown v. Board of Education at the U.S. Supreme Court

Thurgood Marshall, as lead counsel for the NAACP, argued the consolidated school desegregation cases before the United States Supreme Court in 1952–1953. The Court issued its unanimous decision in Brown v. Board of Education in 1954, declaring state laws establishing segregated public schools unconstitutional.
