Paramount Theatre

The Paramount Theatre opened in 1928 as a vaudeville and movie palace and was designed by the architectural firm Rapp & Rapp. The interior is highly ornate with decorative plasterwork and a large auditorium that seats over 2,700. The theatre is a designated Seattle landmark and has been restored and adapted for live performance and touring productions. Its marquee on Pine Street remains a prominent feature of downtown Seattle's historic theater district.
