Three Soldiers (Three Servicemen)

Frederick Hart's bronze sculpture "Three Soldiers" was installed as a representational companion to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The three figures depict a squad of U.S. soldiers in Vietnam-era uniforms and gear. The statue was dedicated in 1984 after being commissioned in response to public debate over the memorial's abstract design.
