Sandman Centre

The Sandman Centre is a prominent multi-use indoor arena located in Kamloops, British Columbia, with a seating capacity of 5,464. Opened in 1992, it serves as the home for the Kamloops Blazers ice hockey team and has undergone several name changes due to sponsorships. The arena has hosted a variety of notable events, including concerts by major artists like Shania Twain and Avril Lavigne, as well as significant sporting events such as the Tim Hortons Brier and the IIHF Women's World Championship. Its location on Mark Recchi Way pays homage to the local NHL player, and the arena also played a crucial role during the 2017 British Columbia wildfires as an evacuation center.
