Greenville station (Texas)

The Greenville station, also known as Katy Depot, is a historic train depot built in 1896 in Greenville, Texas. Once operated by the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Company, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. The depot features a limestone foundation and red brick walls with sandstone accents. It houses the Greenville Railroad Museum, making it a fascinating stop for tourists and researchers alike. Notably, President Harry Truman visited the station in 1948 during his campaign tour.
