Arcade Building (Brookline, Massachusetts)

The Arcade Building, located at 314–320A Harvard Street in Brookline, Massachusetts, is a historic commercial structure built in 1926. This unique two-story cast stone building features an interior arcade lined with small shops, making it the only arcaded commercial building in Brookline. Designed by George N. Jacobs, it showcases a skylit atrium and retains many original features. The building is situated in the bustling Coolidge Corner area, reflecting the transition of Harvard Avenue from residential to commercial use. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, offering visitors a glimpse into the architectural history of the region.
