Cathedral of the Holy Cross

The Cathedral of the Holy Cross is the mother church and seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and was constructed between 1866 and 1875. Located in Boston’s South End, it is commonly described as the largest Roman Catholic church in New England. The Gothic Revival cathedral serves as the site of major archdiocesan liturgies and events.
