The Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) in Gujarat, India, is the world's largest office complex, designed to be a hub for the diamond trade. Officially completed in July 2023, it features nine interconnected towers with over 4,200 offices and a unique diamond jewellery mall, housing top international brands. The complex includes India's largest customs clearance center for diamond exports and aims to enhance Surat's position in the global diamond market. Despite initial connectivity challenges, recent expansions at Surat Airport aim to improve access for international trade. The SDB is a green building, reflecting sustainable practices, and is set to become a key player in the diamond industry.
