Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility

The George B. Fitch Warrenton Aquatic and Recreation Facility, known as The WARF, is a vibrant recreation center located in Warrenton, Virginia. Opened in 2007, it features a unique design inspired by the region's agricultural heritage, including elements like a grain silo vestibule and a gable roof reminiscent of local farmhouses. The facility boasts a competition pool, leisure pool, hot tub, and water slide, along with fitness rooms and various outdoor amenities such as playing fields, walking paths, an ice skating rink, a playground, and a skateboard park. The WARF offers memberships and day passes, hosts fitness classes, and organizes special events, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. Despite temporary closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The WARF continues to be a key community hub, recognized for its architectural excellence with multiple awards.
