Market Square Park

Market Square Park occupies a historic public square in downtown Houston that was the city's 19th-century commercial and civic center. The park is bounded by several surviving 19th- and early-20th-century commercial buildings and is identified with Houston's early municipal and mercantile history. It functions today as a public plaza and gathering place within the city's historic core.
