Its design features a central courtyard, reminiscent of 16th-century Renaissance palazzi. The palazzo's name reflects its historical ownership, linked to the Negroni family's noble titles, including that of Duke Caffarelli. Notably, the building suffered a fire in 1893 that destroyed valuable photographic archives.
