HOPE Outdoor Gallery (Graffiti Park at Castle Hill)

HOPE Outdoor Gallery, commonly called Graffiti Park at Castle Hill, opened as a community paint park in 2011 and allowed artists to legally paint large-scale works on its concrete surfaces. The privately owned lot became a well-known informal gallery and photo spot for street art in Austin. In 2019 the site was cleared and the original park was demolished after the property was sold for redevelopment. The park's closure prompted discussions about preserving street art and led organizers to plan future relocation efforts.
