Hotel Albion

Hotel Albion, established in 1906 in Portland, Oregon, was a notable historic building famous for its Lotus Café, which operated from 1924 until 2016. Renamed the Lotus Hotel in the mid-20th century, it closed in 1976 due to fire safety issues. The site is now set for redevelopment, with plans for a new 10-story office building approved in 2016, leading to the hotel's demolition in 2018. The adjacent Auditorium and Music Hall remains intact, adding to the area's historical significance.
