The Sixth Floor Museum and the JFK assassination

The Sixth Floor Museum is housed on the sixth floor of the former Texas School Book Depository, the building from which investigators concluded shots that killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, were fired. The site contains exhibits about the assassination, the investigations that followed, and the impact on American history. Numerous books, investigations, and conspiracy theories debate details of the shooting and the presence of additional shooters, making it a persistent subject of controversy. The museum occupies the same Elm Street address commonly associated with the event.
