Ryman Auditorium - 'Mother Church of Country Music'

Ryman Auditorium was built in 1892 as the Union Gospel Tabernacle and later renamed for Thomas G. Ryman. It served as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943 to 1974. Today it operates as a performance venue and museum preserving and presenting country and American roots music history.
