Brentmoor

Brentmoor, also known as the Spilman-Mosby House, is a historic Italianate-style residence located in Warrenton, Virginia. Built in 1859, it was home to notable figures including Confederate leader John Singleton Mosby and Congressman Eppa Hunton. The house features distinctive architectural elements such as a central bay with a tri-part window, high ceilings, and solid brick masonry throughout. Brentmoor was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 and has served various purposes, including a museum. Currently undergoing renovations, it is set to become a family home, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers exploring Virginia's rich history.
