Mayborn Building

The Frank W. Mayborn Building, located at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, is a historic structure originally built in 1914 as the Manual Training building for the George Peabody College for Teachers. Renowned for its architectural beauty, the building features a stunning marble entryway, grand staircase, and striking red brick exterior with stone columns. It was renamed in honor of Frank W. Mayborn, a generous benefactor who contributed $1 million to the college. Today, it houses the Human and Organizational Development program, making it a significant site for both educational pursuits and architectural appreciation.
