Insurgentes 300

Insurgentes 300, also known as Condominio Insurgentes or Edificio Canada, is a notable 19-floor commercial and residential building located at Avenida de los Insurgentes 300 in Colonia Roma, Mexico City. Designed by renowned architect Mario Pani, it opened in 1958 as one of Mexico's first tall condominiums, featuring modern amenities like an elevator bank and a heliport. Historically significant, it housed offices for lawyers and actors and was marked by a prominent 'CANADA' advertisement. The building faced a tragic event in 1995 with the assassination of Judge Abraham Antonio Polo Uscanga. After sustaining damage from the 2012 Guerrero–Oaxaca earthquake, it was evacuated and has since undergone renovations, although its future remains uncertain.
