Calvin C. Goode Municipal Building

The Calvin C. Goode Municipal Building, located in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona, is a notable 10-story government office building that opened in 1963. Originally serving as the city hall, it was designed by local architects Ralph Haver & Associates and Edward L. Varney Associates to accommodate the city's rapid growth post-World War II. The building features city offices, the mayor's office, and a cafeteria, while the circular outbuilding houses the Phoenix City Council Chambers. Renamed in honor of Calvin C. Goode, a significant figure in Phoenix's history, the building now serves as additional office space for city services, with the Council still meeting in its chambers.
