Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2001 and serves as the principal performance home of the Philadelphia Orchestra. The building houses Verizon Hall and the Perelman Theater and is noted for its glass-domed Commonwealth Plaza. The center hosts a wide range of classical, pop, and community performances and educational programs.
