Circuit of the Americas hosts Formula 1

Circuit of the Americas (COTA) opened in 2012 and was built to host major international motorsport events. The track hosted the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix for the first time in November 2012 and has continued to host the race and other major series such as MotoGP and IMSA. The facility is a permanent road course designed specifically to meet FIA Grade 1 standards for Formula 1 competition.
