Palacio de los Leones

Palacio de los Leones, or the Palace of the Lions, is the main municipal building in Rosario, Argentina, serving as the seat of the local government. Located at the intersection of Buenos Aires and Santa Fe Streets, it faces the historic Plaza 25 de Mayo and is adjacent to the National Flag Memorial. Designed by architect Gaetano Rezzara in a neo-Renaissance style, the palace was inaugurated in 1898 and features a striking reddish-brown facade. Its name is derived from the two white lion statues that guard the entrance, inspired by similar sculptures from Genoa, Italy.
