Medborgarhuset

Medborgarhuset, or the Citizen's Building, is a prominent civic hall located in Södermalm, Stockholm. Built between 1936 and 1939, this Neoclassical Functionalist structure features a public bath, auditorium, local library, gymnasium, children's theatre, and various meeting rooms. The building underwent significant restoration in 1981, with further updates to the bath in 1988-1989, including a winter garden. Notably, it was the site of Swedish minister Anna Lindh's last speech before her tragic assassination in 2003, adding historical significance to its architectural charm.
