Flamingo Las Vegas - oldest resort on the Strip still operating

The Flamingo Hotel & Casino opened in December 1946 and is widely recognized as the oldest resort on the Las Vegas Strip that remains in continuous operation. Early development of the Flamingo is historically associated with Benjamin 'Bugsy' Siegel and the property's opening played a formative role in postwar Strip development. The resort continues to operate at its original Strip location.
