Old Stone House, the city's oldest unchanged building

The Old Stone House in Georgetown dates to around 1765 and is considered the oldest unchanged building standing in Washington, D.C. The house is owned and operated by the National Park Service as a historic house museum that interprets colonial and early American domestic life. It remains an architectural and cultural landmark within the Georgetown neighborhood.
