Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens - Urban Lotus and Waterlily Preserve

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens preserves one of the only national collections of aquatic plants in the National Park Service, noted for its extensive displays of lotus and waterlilies. The gardens began as private cultivation of waterlilies and lotuses by Walter B. Shaw in the early 20th century and were later incorporated into the park system. The site includes boardwalks through marsh and pond habitats and is noted for summer lotus blooms.
