Cook Blacksmith Shop

The Cook Blacksmith Shop, located in Ponca, Nebraska, is a historic site and living history museum that showcases the craftsmanship of blacksmithing. Built in 1901 by C. O. Cook, the shop operated for over thirty years and features all original tools and machinery that have been restored to working condition. Owned by the Ponca Historical Society, this one-story structure with a false front offers visitors a glimpse into the past and was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
