Hotel del Coronado

Opened in 1888, the Hotel del Coronado is a large Victorian beachfront resort on Coronado Island and one of the few surviving examples of an American seaside resort from the late 19th century. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977. The hotel has hosted numerous presidents, celebrities, and film productions over its history and remains a prominent architectural and cultural landmark in the San Diego region.
