William Ziegler House

The William Ziegler House is a historic mansion located at 2 East 63rd Street on Manhattan's Upper East Side, designed by architect Frederick Sterner in 1919 for businessman William Ziegler Jr. Originally intended as a private residence, the mansion has a rich history, having served various purposes including a hospital for actors and later as a donation to the New York Academy of Sciences. In 2005, it was purchased by billionaire Leonard Blavatnik for $31 million, marking its transition into a significant investment property.
