Diablo Lake - reservoir formed by Diablo Dam

Diablo Lake is the reservoir impounded by Diablo Dam, one of the three dams in the Skagit River Hydroelectric Project owned by the City of Seattle. The lake is noted for its distinctive turquoise color caused by glacial silt suspended in the water. The dam and generating facilities are operated by Seattle City Light while surrounding recreation areas are administered by federal land management agencies.
