Memorial Hall (Please Touch Museum building)

Memorial Hall was constructed for the 1876 Centennial Exposition as Horticultural Hall and is an ornate nineteenth-century exhibition building in Fairmount Park. The Beaux-Arts/Italianate structure now houses the Please Touch Museum and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It remains one of the major surviving buildings from the 1876 exposition and has been repurposed for museum and public use.
