Palazzo Montalto is a stunning early 20th-century Liberty-style palace located in Trapani, Sicily. Designed by engineer-architect Francesco La Grassa, this architectural gem features a striking corner façade adorned with ornamental stucco work and wrought-iron balconies, typical of the region's Liberty period. Commissioned by notary Giacomo Montalto in the 1920s, the palazzo boasts three storeys with aligned windows and a distinctive projecting bay window. Its vibrant color schemes and rich ornamentation reflect the decorative tastes of the interwar period. Since 2023, the palazzo has opened its doors to the public during heritage events, allowing visitors to explore its historic interiors and exquisite decorative details.
