Frank Erwin Center - longtime UT basketball arena

Frank Erwin Center opened in 1977 as the Frank C. Erwin Jr. Special Events Center and served as the home arena for the University of Texas Longhorns men's and women's basketball teams for decades. It hosted NCAA tournament games, major concerts, and other large indoor events. The arena was replaced as UT's primary basketball venue when the Moody Center opened in 2022.
