Wetherbee, a foreman at the Waltham Watch Factory, this historic home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. After serving various purposes, including a fraternity house, it was purchased in 1997 by Robert and Juana Ham McDougall, who undertook extensive restoration efforts. They modernized the kitchen while preserving original features like the dining room's oak flooring and intricate woodwork. The exterior boasts a unique five-color paint scheme that highlights its architectural details. Notably, the McDougalls replicated the original stained glass windows with the help of a renowned craftsman. The house retains many original elements, such as an ornate fireplace and decorative wallpaper, and has been featured on HGTV's 'Restore America,' making it a fascinating visit for tourists and researchers alike.
