Argaty

Argaty is a historic farm estate located near Doune, Stirling, Scotland, known for its 19th-century house and its unique red kite feeding station, the only one in central Scotland. The estate has a rich history, originally part of the Doune estate and linked to the Dukes of Albany, with ownership changing hands multiple times over the centuries. Visitors can observe the reintroduced red kites in their natural habitat, making it a fascinating destination for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Although the main house was severely damaged by fire in 2011 and is now a private residence, the estate continues to attract interest for its historical significance and natural beauty.
