Old Parliament House, Sofia

The Old Parliament House, officially known as the National Assembly Building, is a significant cultural monument located in downtown Sofia, Bulgaria. Designed in the Neo-Renaissance style by architect Konstantin Jovanović, it was constructed between 1884 and 1886. The building has a rich history, having served as the site for parliamentary debates and being featured on the Bulgarian 20 leva banknote. Due to space constraints, the National Assembly has temporarily relocated to the former headquarters of the Bulgarian Communist Party, known as the Party House, which has undergone modernization.
