Elizabeth Arden Building

The Elizabeth Arden Building, located at 1147 Connecticut Avenue in downtown Washington, D.C., is a historic site built in 1929. It showcases Georgian Revival architecture and is the only known design by architect Mott B. Schmidt. The building, which originally housed a beauty salon, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 and underwent renovation in 1996 to accommodate the Tiny Jewel Box store. This landmark offers visitors a glimpse into the architectural history of the city.
