Union Station used as a TV and film location

Washington's Union Station has been used as a filming location and backdrop for numerous television and film productions because of its large concourse and Beaux-Arts architecture. Commercial productions, including episodes and scenes for series shot in and around Washington, have obtained permits to film on the station's public concourse and exterior plazas. Filming at Union Station requires authorization from Amtrak/Union Station management and adherence to operational and public-safety conditions.
